High Point Ballet: The Nutcracker
The production opened in 1987 at the Edward C. Smith Civic Center in Lexington, toured the Triad and is now back at the High Point Theatre, according to the theater. Artistic Director Gary Taylor choreographs it.

A Christmas Carol

Getting there
The theater is downtown at 220 E. Commerce Ave. High Point Market runs only in April and October, so December shows do not compete with market traffic; the city had not published any holiday traffic notice for the theater as of Oct. 14.
