  • Stock + Grain Assembly, 275 N. Elm St.: eight food counters for a family with mixed tastes, from 11 a.m. Sunday.

Gardens and outdoors

  • Mariana H. Qubein Arboretum and Botanical Gardens at High Point University: 30 gardens with more than 350 kinds of trees and 2,500 kinds of plants, free and open to the public seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Use the gardens map to plan a walk.

Rockers baseball

The High Point Rockers are at home at Truist Point on Sunday, May 9, 2027, for Mother’s Day, according to the team’s 2027 schedule announcement. Game times are announced later; the 2027 home opener is Friday, April 23.

Gifts and markets

  • High Point Farmers Market: in 2026 it ran Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 18 to Oct. 31, on the High Point Public Library plaza, 901 N. Main St., according to the city calendar. The 2027 season dates are not out yet; check our farmers markets page.
  • The Art Gallery at Congdon Yards has a gallery store and is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
