The Palladium is the shopping district in far north High Point near the intersection of Eastchester Drive (NC 68) and Wendover Avenue, with Skeet Club Road on its west side. The city’s High Point 2045 plan names it a regional center, “the premier commercial district in High Point,” which grew up over the past decade around the Palladium Shopping Center in a suburban pattern of parking lots facing the road and one-story buildings, and it recommends infill to bring a more urban mix of uses. This page covers the district and the homes and apartments around it. Most addresses are in ZIP code 27265, but some homes inside the city have Jamestown or Greensboro mailing addresses.

Where it is

This guide covers the Palladium stores on Samet Drive, Brian Jordan Place and Precision Way and the apartment and subdivision streets around them, from Skeet Club Road east toward Penny Road and north toward Wendover Avenue. Oak Hollow is to the southwest and the northwest area to the west.

The area is in Guilford County Schools. We placed the city’s 5,866 address points on the district’s 2026-27 attendance-zone map, the one behind its School Assignment Locator:

• Middle and high: 69% Southwest Guilford Middle and High; 31% Welborn Middle and T. Wingate Andrews High.
• Elementary: 28% Florence Elementary, 27% Montlieu Academy of Technology, 23% Southwest Elementary and 22% Colfax Elementary. Most homes with Jamestown and Greensboro mailing addresses were zoned for Florence or Colfax.
• About 4% of addresses are in the district’s High Point choice zone, where rising sixth graders can pick Welborn or Southwest Guilford Middle and rising ninth graders Andrews or Southwest Guilford High, according to the choice zone page.

• Deep River Recreation Center and Park, 1529 Skeet Club Road, 336-883-3407, on the area’s west side: gym, ball fields, basketball and tennis courts, picnic shelter and playground; open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, according to the city.
• The Piedmont Environmental Center, 1220 Penny Road, to the south, is where the paved Bicentennial Greenway starts its 6.2 miles north toward Greensboro.

• Piedmont Triad International Airport: about 9.6 miles by road, the closest of our areas.
• Downtown High Point: about 6.7 miles by road to City Hall.
• Buses: none of High Point Transit’s fixed-route schedules lists a stop in the area, according to the city’s routes page.
