High Point’s outdoor seating is mostly on North Main Street, where Sweet Old Bill’s, Starbucks and Caribou Coffee sit within about 2 miles of each other, plus a tavern patio on Westchester Drive, a second Caribou on Eastchester Drive and a seasonal patio bar downtown overlooking Truist Point.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside High Point’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. A place is on this list only if its own website or its chain store page names a patio, outdoor seating or an outdoor bar; we added places whose own pages say so, including the Stock + Grain Assembly food hall. We left off places where only reviews or other websites mention outdoor tables. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Have a patio we missed? The places

Cahoots Patio is the outdoor bar at the Stock + Grain Assembly food hall, overlooking Truist Point stadium, with live music from Ziggy’s Stages. It is a drinks bar, open only on Friday and Saturday evenings from May through October; food comes from the hall’s counters inside, such as B3 Smokehouse, Nonna Rosa’s Pizza and Taco Street.

Caribou Coffee has two High Point stores, on North Main Street at Peachtree and on Eastchester Drive. Both are drive-thru and walk-up only, and both store pages list patio seating.

Starbucks at North Main Street and Parris Avenue lists outdoor seating, cafe seating and a drive-thru on its store page.

Sweet Old Bill’s serves barbecue and Southern food on North Main Street. Its site shows an outdoor seating area, and it hosts parties and serves Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tipsy’z Tavern & Grill on Westchester Drive opened a patio that it says is smoke-free except from 2 to 6 p.m. and after 8 p.m., when smoking is allowed there. The family-owned tavern serves burgers, craft beer and house-baked cakes.
