Every High Point Today food list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, breakfast and coffee, burgers, sushi and Asian, desserts, bakeries and patios.

Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Each list is refreshed every three months.

These are High Point Today’s lists of places to eat, one page per kind of food. Every list is alphabetical, built from OpenStreetMap records inside the city limits (the same data behind our local directory) and checked against each place’s own website. None is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody pays to be on them. Each list gives the address, the hours the place publishes and its phone number; open a list for those details.

The lists

Where to get wings. Seven places at 12 locations, from three Wingstop stores on North Main Street, South Main Street and Skeet Club Road to the pizza shops on Eastchester Drive, Kickback Jack’s on Penny Road and the smoked wings at B3 Smokehouse downtown.

Where to get pizza. Eight places at 13 locations: local shops Lubrano’s, Pizza Vino II and Rome Pizza, the Neapolitan-style counter Nonna Rosa’s in the downtown food hall, Kickback Jack’s, and the Domino’s, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut stores.

Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Four places at seven locations: La Fiesta on Tinsley Drive, Taco Street’s street tacos downtown, and Chipotle and Taco Bell.

Breakfast and coffee. Ten places at 16 locations, from IHOP and four Biscuitville restaurants to local coffee shops Joy Bar, DeBeen Espresso and Lil’s Coffee Bar, Carolina’s Diner, and the Starbucks, Caribou and Dunkin’ stores.

Where to get burgers. Ten places, including PorterHouse Burger Co. at the Palladium, Smash & Sizzle downtown, Tipsy’z Tavern & Grill, Sweet Old Bill’s, and Five Guys, Wayback Burgers and Whataburger on North Main Street.

Sushi and Asian restaurants. Ten restaurants, most around the Palladium and on North Main Street: sushi bars, a revolving sushi bar, a hibachi steakhouse, Thai bistros, a ramen shop, a Chinese kitchen and a pan-Asian bistro.

Ice cream and desserts. Four places: Baskin-Robbins on Eastchester Drive, Cara’s Cookies & Coffee downtown, and the desserts and house-made cakes at Sweet Old Bill’s and Tipsy’z.

Bakeries. Four places baking or selling baked goods: Cara’s cookies, DeBeen Espresso’s vegan bakery, Tipsy’z Kitchen & Bakehouse layer cakes and Dunkin’ doughnuts.

Patios and outdoor dining. Five places whose own sites list a patio or outdoor seating, including the seasonal Cahoots Patio overlooking Truist Point and the smoke-free patio at Tipsy’z.

We have not published a barbecue list yet: fewer than four barbecue restaurants inside the city could be confirmed on their own websites this time. Sweet Old Bill’s and B3 Smokehouse appear on the lists above.
